What is your Covid 19 cancellation policy?
Our policy starting from January 2021 is to provide a full refund in the event of a national lockdown preventing anything but essential travel. If the lead booking address is placed under a local lockdown preventing outbound travel, then a full refund will be provided. In both these instances alternative dates for the holiday can also be an option.
An automatic right to cancel and receive a refund is not covered under the following scenarios – a disinclination to travel, a member of the party falling ill with Covid prior to travel, a requirement to quarantine or self-isolate due a track and trace contact. We would endeavour to relet to enable us to provide a refund, but it is not guaranteed. To cover yourself for this risk, we recommend taking out a suitable travel or cancellation insurance policy.
What are you doing to ensure the cottages are Covid safe?
We are ensuring that the property that you have booked will be cleaned and sanitised to the Covid Ready Guidelines from PASC UK, the AA and Visit England. We have produced a Risk Assessment that covers all aspects of our business and this can be seen on demand.
What happens if I fall ill with Covid prior to travel?
Most importantly, if you have any coronavirus symptoms prior to travel, please DO NOT travel down here.
What happens if I fall with Covid or have symptoms during my stay?
If you show any signs of having the virus whilst staying with us, then you must immediately go and get tested by contacting https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test. The result must be shown to us. If positive, you will need to leave and return home to self-isolate, if any member of your party can drive you.
If that is not possible and you have to self-isolate here, then you will have to pay for all bookings that have to be cancelled as a result, plus the cost of the extra stay. This is the advice that we have received from the Government.
