Holidays in Pembrokeshire

Nestled in the unspoilt heart of Pembrokeshire, our eco barns have all the ingredients for the perfect Pembrokeshire holiday. Simply stay in, relax, unwind and spend time together, or head out and about, exploring everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We’re in the fascinating Landsker region, surrounded by an ancient landscape rich in beauty, wildlife, myth, legend and more besides… Visit local nature reserves, hike up Plumstone Mountain, go beach hopping or explore the remains of Norman castles dotted along this historic frontier.

Or if you want to try an outdoor adventure challenge when you visit, everything from kite surfing to coasteering is available locally, and the Celtic Trail cycle route passes within a mile.

Just along the northern shore of St. Bride’s Bay, only 10 minutes drive away,  stands the pretty little coastal village of Solva. Once the haunt of smugglers and pirates, nowadays it’s well worth a visit for its restaurants and galleries.

Meanwhile, only a few more miles along the coast is Wales’s spiritual capital of St. Davids – an ‘edge of the world’ place that once attracted Celtic holy men and pilgrims from far and wide.

Pembrokeshire’s National Park coastline – just 3 miles from the eco barns –  is famed the world over for its coast path, incredible natural beauty and astonishing wildlife, from huge colonies of seabirds and seals to dolphins and whales. And don’t miss the brooding and enigmatic Preseli Mountains to the north, the source of some of Stonehenge’s Bluestones.

If you need any help planning your Pembrokeshire holiday when you stay here at Asheston Eco Barns, we’ll be very happy to help. For some inspiration, surf around this part of the website and visit our blog.
