Asheston Eco Barns offers some of the most eco-friendly self-catering accommodation in Britain, so you really will be helping protect the planet when you come and stay.

Most of the energy used here at the eco barns is generated by state-of-the-art renewable energy technologies – a wind turbine generates electricity and the central heating is provided by ground source heat pumps and wood burning stoves. Solar hot water systems heat the water.

Rainwater recycling is used for toilet flushing, etc., and the local and organic food in your welcome hamper helps support the local economy while protecting animal welfare and the environment at the same time.

To ensure the eco barns’ environmental performance is continually improving, we run an externally audited Green Dragon standard environmental management system.
